Dr. Stephanie Yau is an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) surgeon from Queensland, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Her expertise encompasses various aspects of ENT, with a special focus on head and neck surgery, diseases of the skull base, and paediatric cases.
Born and raised in Brisbane, Dr. Yau completed her medical education at the University of Queensland. She then pursued surgical training in Queensland, earning Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. Dr. Yau underwent additional subspecialty training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. This intensive year-long training equipped her with advanced skills in addressing complex conditions affecting the head, neck, and skull base.
Throughout her career, Dr. Yau has had the privilege of making a positive impact on indigenous health. She actively participates in outreach programs that extend her services to regional and remote Indigenous communities, particularly in Far North Queensland.Dr. Yau’s passion extends beyond patient care. She actively contributes to the education of junior doctors, with a particular focus on ENT. Her commitment to medical education is evident through her published work in this field. As an associate lecturer at the University of Queensland, she closely mentors and guides medical students and junior doctors, helping them advance their knowledge and skills in the field of ENT.
