Dr Courtenay Henrys

Dr Courtenay Henrys is an Australian trained Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgeon with a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Following an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, she completed her medical degree and Masters of Philosophy at University of Queensland. Dr Henrys undertook her surgical training in South East Queensland to become a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She enjoys all aspects of ENT, having trained at Queensland Children’s Hospital and a number of tertiary adult ENT services in Queensland.

Recently relocating to Cairns with her husband, Dr Henrys is excited to have commenced a position at Cairns Hospital and is already involved in outreach services. She enjoys teaching and mentoring junior doctors and medical students, and is actively involved in research. On weekends she enjoys an active lifestyle, competing in triathlons and exploring the outdoors.
