COVID-19 Response

We are continuing to support our patients, referring medical practitioners and the community during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Our rooms remain open ready to provide you with the best possible service.

If you have recently visited any of our rooms, please be reassured that there have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 associated with any members of staff at any of our locations and all of our doctors remain in good health.

Our practice is committed to caring for patients requiring urgent treatment, and we are closely following guidelines from the Department of Health and ASOHNS, the representative organisation for Ear Nose and Throat Head and Neck Surgeons in Australia.

We are able to treat most cases by face to face consultation, however we are offering telehealth services to patients who are self isolating.  Our staff can provide further information about this service.

If you have been given a referral to see one of the specialists please ensure that you have sent us a copy of your referral by email to info@completeent.com.au in advance for triaging by one of the surgeons. We have implemented a number of measures for the safety of the doctors, staff and other patients:

  • All patients having a face to face consultation will be asked to complete a COVID-19 screening checklist when confirming your appointment, and screened again on arrival at our rooms.
  • We are allowing additional time between appointments to permit time for cleaning.
  • We are using the best available protective equipment where necessary for face to face consultations.
  • For social distancing in our waiting rooms and reception areas, we ask that you arrive only 5 minutes before your appointment time, come alone or with only one other person, stand back from the reception desk and seat yourself at least 1.5m from other waiting patients. If your doctor is running late for any reason, you may be asked to leave the rooms to wait until the doctor is ready to see you.
  • For social distancing reasons within the consultation room, only one essential parent, guardian or carer will be permitted to see the specialist with the patient.

The Federal Government have approved the gradual re-commencement of elective surgery, however ENT surgical procedures are still considered high risk and we continue to work with limited surgical lists.  Please be patient as we work through our lists allowing for patients to be rescheduled as capacity permits.  Any patients with postponed procedures will be contacted once a surgical list becomes available, and clinically urgent cases will be given priority.

From all of us here at CompleteENT, please take care of yourselves and each other during this challenging time.

Ensure that you maintain good hand hygiene with a 20-30 second wash, cover your mouth when coughing, observe social distancing and self-isolate if appropriate.

Should you require any further information, please contact our rooms on 07 3905 5999
